Wyatt Stedman is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelors degree in engineering and Houston Baptist University with a masters degree in management.
He was commissioned in the United States Air Force and attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin AFB, TX where he was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate. While on active duty he served eight years flying the F-15 Eagle in the Far East, Pacific and U.S. While flying the F-15 he was a Flight Lead, Mission Commander, Instructor Pilot and Flight Examiner. He also served three years flying the supersonic T-38 Talon as an Instructor Pilot, Check Airman and Flight Commander. During his tour flying the T-38 he instructed aerobatics, formation flying and advanced instrument procedures. Upon completion of active duty he continued his military flying in the Air National Guard flying the F-16 Fighting Falcon for 11 years until he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years of military service. He has participated in numerous overseas deployments including Operation Southern Watch where he flew combat air patrol No-Fly-Zone missions over southern Iraq.
He has flown the DC-8, Boeing 727, currently flies the Boeing 747 and numerous general aviation aircraft. He is type rated in the B727 and B747, holds an ATP, FE and CFI. His aviation career has spanned 30 years and over 7000 hours of flying.
Wyatt has been married to his wife Donna for 27 years and they have three children, Josh, Amanda and Robert. His interests include tennis, radio-controlled flying and aviation history.
